go, go TINY is a one-day tiny house event on May 20 at Science World. The outdoor event includes tiny houses to tour, community partner pop-up tents and a 26-foot mobile tiny house barn-raising (see above image, yes! we’re building this on site in a day) using reclaimed but new building materials and structural lumber from construction sites that otherwise would have gone to waste (10AM-6PM); the event will close with a panel discussion followed by a Q&A (7-9PM). The day celebrates sustainable design and construction, innovation and reflects on our waste/reuse culture.
Organized by the BC Tiny House Collective, in collaboration with Callahan Tufts and his Rescued Homes project, Royal Architectural Institute of Canada fellow Sean Ruthen and community partner Science World.
